Hiding Out

Hiding out,

Seeking refuge from many

Things. Crouching behind

Doors tightly shut.

Barred from within.

Holding feelings without

Dismissing them as

Enemies to be feared.

Knowing full well

The path I must take

Lies but a step

Outside this door.

A step further down this path

Sensing you there!

Wanting you there!

Wanting to come to you.

I fear me

as much as

I fear FOR you.

My door no longer

A fortress, now becomes

My prison.
